Much like the 8 things I do every month, there are (roughly) 8 things I do every single week… so let’s hop to it!

It is April 1 (I don’t participate in April fools Day) so I figured I would share 8 things I do every month to help things in our life run more smoothly

I so desperately wanted gift giving to be my love language, but it just isn’t. So last year, I saw Haley Wynn talk about decide once gifts over on Instagram and I knew that was THE KEY to simplifying the gift overwhelm. I decided at the beginning of 2023 what gifts would look like

Over the years I think holidays have gotten a bit…. crazy? I don’t know, there are so many people giving gift guide ideas etc for every single holiday. But realistically, when we started fostering, I wanted to make holidays special without bringing a bunch of extra stuff into our home. SO I have really focused on meaningful and useful gifts for our kids. Here are some ideas to simplify Easter baskets at your house this year….

A blog post about laundry… yep. Obviously you are reading it because you were curious or maybe looking for a way for the laundry to stop ruling your days. I had to figure out a way to contain the laundry crazy back when we were fostering and after living in a camper for 8 months without a washer and dryer, had to kind of reset the laundry routine. So here are 5 ways I have simplified my laundry routine:

This year was a little bit easier for us after living in a camper for 8 months, Hadley doesn’t have an over abundance of “stuff” at this point. We were able to pick out some things that we knew she would love and actually play with to replace some of her baby toys.

8 months of tiny living and we have officially moved out!
